Irene Gakii is currently in Form 2 at Naathu secondary school.  She has experienced and overcomes many challenges in her young life.  Nonetheless, she has shown remarkable endurance and perseverance to remain in school and maintain her grades.  Her scholarship will run for the remaining 3 years of her secondary school
