Annual Wildlife Warrior Scholars’ Retreat
Annually we bring together all the existing Wildlife Warrior Scholars from their respective secondary schools for a one week retreat.
Annually the Land & Life Foundation brings together all the existing Wildlife Warrior Scholars from their respective secondary schools for a one week retreat.
Each year the Retreat has a different conservation and environmental theme (eg Water Conservation and Drought Mitigation, or Forests and Trees etc). Students engage in a number of interactive sessions around the theme and have the chance to meet and hear from active professionals working in conservation. They work in groups and produce drama, artwork and written pieces on and around the topics.
The retreat also provides the opportunity to mentor the students, giving them the chance to talk about their futures, their studies, and find out where and how we can support them further.
They are also given the chance to go out on trips – game drives, visits to nearby conservation centers-whatever we can arrange for them which will widen their life experience and provide
